flour Combine flour, oats and brown sugar, stir in margarine. Press evenly into 9" square baking pan. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients, pour over base in pan; Return to oven and bake 25-30 minutes. Serve warm or chilled with whipped cream. 8 oz. light
cream cheese softened Mix first 3 ingredients together. Spread in glass 9 inch round pan. Scatter shrimp over cheese mixture. Add layers of seafood sauce, mozzarella cheese, peppers, onions and tomato. cover and chill until ready to serve. Supply assorted crackers and spoons for spreading. 1 tbsp.
vegetable oil Heat oil and add onion, garlic and carrots; saute for 5 minutes or until onion is tender, stirring frequently. Add chili powder, cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add stock, 1 can beans, corn and bring to a boil. Meanwhile, in food processor or blender, puree together tomatoes and remaining can of beans; add to pot. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until carrots are tender. Sprinkle each serving with 1 tbsp. parsley. This is one of Scotland's most famous and favourite meals 1 lb. lean
ground beef Brown beef and onion, draining off any fat. Add bouillon, HP sauce and water. Simmer until beef and veggies are cooked. This may be thickened with "bisto". Serve with mashed or boiled potatoes. Combining
sweet potato, butternut squash, apples and raisins. Cut into cubes: one large,peeled sweet potato, one-half butternut squash, 2 Granny Smith apples and one-half cup raisins. (Raisins are optional - leave them out if you don't like them.) Place all in 2-qt covered casserole dish. Add 4-Tablespoons brown sugar and one-half cup water. Bake in oven at 375-degrees for about 45-minutes or until soft. Yummy for the tummy food.
